Chase - AK
-Chase was diagnosed July of 2020, at 2.5 yrs old.
- His port surgery went sideways and he ended up on a ventilator with chest tubes which ultimately took his ability to walk.
- He fought back, re-learning how to walk.
-8 months into treatment, Chase was life-flighted due to a seizure.
- In November of 2022, 3 weeks after his 5th birthday he rang the bell.
- November 2024 we celebrated 2 years off treatment and moved to survivorship status.
-One month later, Dec 30, 2024, Chase had relapsed. He was 7.
- March he was diagnosed with MRSA and needed his port removed. Once stable he flew to Kansas City to start a 28 day continuous infusion.
- He continues to fight with strength and resilience and looks forward to the day he rings the bell in 2027
