Zeke - Kipnuk
We started off the year 2025 with horrible news. Late January and early February we learned our son Zeke had a rare type of cancer called T-Cell Lymphoma driven by the EBV virus. Since then, we have been carrying heavy loads physically and emotionally throughout his treatments. To add to this, fall of 2025 our home, Kipnuk, was devastated by Typhoon Halong completely displacing the entire village. Although we were not home at the time this typhoon happened, we were very worried when we heard that we had no more homes to go home to.
Battling alongside our son all while losing our only home felt very overwhelming. It feels very overwhelming today still, and receiving your financial support makes it overall so much more bearable. We feel an overwhelming amount of relief. Because of your support we can cover our temporary rent, pay some utility bills, and add extra nutritious foods on our table. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for accepting our hardship and stepping in. I want you to understand the amount of relief you have given us and because of that we are able to focus more on Zeke’s treatment and recovery. You will always be remembered. We have always remembered your support since the day we received our first check in 2025. Every meal, every bill paid, we will never forget.
